I began a venture project that abruptly changed from one seeking total capital gain to one that was very much concerned with achievement of peace in foreign and domestic human environment. Bamboo Root; Repugnant in smell and appearance, changed into a character zoomorphic in detail that causes an unusually dramatic stir of emotions from those that see it. Recognizing that these emotions could be channeled into financial gain, I was inspired to begin a project utilizing this bamboo, creating characters as attention gaining art forms for various projects and products. While I had nothing against monetary gains and rewards, it had become an inherit desire to make my characters symbolic with the achievement of peace. It is my theory that in my work I have discovered the energy of peace. It is an energy that stimulates creative thinking, laughing faces and caring overtures. It is an energy analogue to the same energies people usually attribute to new born babies.

I was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. After graduating from High School, I moved to California where I lived for almost 15 years. I attended Cal State Fullerton University. I was taught cabinetry skills at Fullerton College. I later worked as an apprentice Fireman in Orange County ultimately settling into my own business. I later moved back to Asheville, my love for percussion and my seasoned skills in Djembe Drumming led me to begin teaching drumming. I started “Therapeutic Hands on drumming” and held classes with all walks of life that included Seniors and Autistic Children My hobbies include classic cars, motorcycles, bicycle riding and anything outdoors. My latest hobby I have taken up is Skydiving.

This is a story about the Sea Warriors of Terrific Looking Energy. It is through my artistic interpretation that I will explain to you what this artwork is all about. Sit back, use your imagination and come along with me on this journey. It was taking place on this planet, Earth surface and under the surface of the ocean floor. The time is the 21 st Century and the place of gathering is the Chief Council Building. The Characters involved are the Controller, his Warriors and the people of the 12 sector (aka earth) Their mission; to restore order to the planet. The reason why: The planet has lost the Gravatar. The Gravatar resided in the center of the ocean floor and Controls the inner moods on life’s surface (on land), not to be removed from the ocean as it would be destructive to mankind. Zulus, a Learning Warrior had watched the seas being filled with waste throughout the centuries by mankind and how it was killing and destroying high intelligent sea life. In witnessing this, Zulus has broken away from the warriors and removed the Gravatar to destroy mankind at the surface just as mankind was destroying the oceans intelligent life. So we begin with the quest to return the Gravatar.

There are 12 groups of warriors. Each group is controlled by a “Leader”. The Controller is over all the Leaders and controls all the Groups. The “Leader “of each of the groups principal purpose is below and they are identified by their gold/bronze armor. 1) Golden: Is the glow of life to carry on each day. 2) Space: Is an aura ever present at all times. 3) Knowledge: Is to grow and become wiser in every form of life. 4) Fate: Is the course you have chosen. 5) Lies: make things difficult. 6) Sound: is what is needed to make you hear. 7) Light: is to see a brighter day and the right way. 8) Togetherness: is the original plan. 9) Spees: go speedily and do not hesitate. 10) War: should not be waged on life but on organic things that threaten life. 11) Underground: bring things to light that need to be addressed and not hidden. 12) Learning: starting the process of knowing something different. Zulus: A warrior of Learning who left the army of warriors because of the destruction of intelligent sea life by mankind Gravitar: Resided in the center of the ocean floor and Controlled the inner moods and life functions on the earth surface (on land), not to be removed from the ocean as it would be destructive to mankind.
